This company does not stand by its products. I had my bike serviced by a mechanic who installed a Cycle Gear battery. Less than 3 months later, the battery was dead. Because it was installed by a mechanic, the company won't honor the warranty - despite the fact I have an invoice for the battery. Their rationale is that I need the actual order number to honor the warranty. That is something only the mechanic has and he is no longer operational during Covid. They could have looked in their records but instead chose to punt.
The people were great tire was a great price but not being able to pay for it over the phone with a credit card I mean how outdated is this company you have to come in there and pay for it in person that's ludicrous especially today's world.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU SHOP!
I should have read the reviews about customer service before ordering from their site. They’re true! It was awful.
I placed an online order, then emailed a day later asking customer support to cancel it (just following their instructions). Another day goes by, no response, so I called. Bobby informs me the order can’t be canceled because it left the facility, even though it had not shipped.
4 days go by before I received an email stating that the return was authorized, THEN another email saying the order shipped.
I understand covid shipping delays, but there is no excuse for sending out a known return. Cycle Gear would rather waste a return shipping label and employees time to get a known return out the door, than to take care of an existing (and now former) customer.
I would rather support a Moto store over major companies like Amazon / WalMart, but Cycle Gear and their antiquated processes can’t compete in the long term... so they lost my business.
For reference, their one and only customer support rep, Bobby, doesn’t work on weekends (or Friday - Monday, apparently) so expect an untimely response, if you get one at all.
This wil be my last visit. lets start with customer service. first I asked employee to measure my head for right fit on helmet. he said he does not do that so try on for size. So I have no Idea what size to buy. I finally picked one out. I asked employee if came with pin lock he said yes. I went to purchase at counter and manager said it does not come with pin lock. but all videos show it come out of box with helmet and manuel which I did not even get a box, manuel, etc. online open box on shelf is discounted. he wanted to over charge me, helmet price was 269.00 Manager insisted that it was 299.00. and that I price match. I found price of 269.00 at Cycle gear, Imagine that. showed him on my phone and walked out without purchasing helmet. customer service is horrible would stay away from Lakewood store.
My recent deal with cycle gear the most ignorant people I have done business with they don’t even want to help I asked about my tires I ordered wow that was a experience I deal with a lot of company’s every day but these clowns take the cake I will never go back to that store again
I preodered a helmet and paid for it in full with the expectation and with them saying I'd receive it mid to late March. I tried numerous emails to get in contact the last week of March. They then tell me it looks to be the April when I might get it... I canceled and asked for a refund. They didn't even try to appease or help. Won't spend my money here ever again...
a trustable place to shop "not only variety selection, match price to make customer happy"
The people at their store were very helpful in person. I returned a helmet (Fresh out of the box,and hours old) and it sat in the store for two weeks! I finally got a replacement (1st one was defective), and received a e gift card for my troubles. Went to use that, no “F’n” good! Been waiting almost a week to hear back from them! Had enough! Been spending my hard earned cash there for many years. I’m done! I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Goodbye cycle punks! Ride on people! Chris, USMC
Ordered 2 items that said it was delivered . Reached out too customer service and they were unable to refund me And or send a replacement. I checked my ring camera to see if any items were delivered and nothing was in fact delivered. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!
On line or in store have always received great customer service. Ordering on line is nice as they let you do returns and exchanges in store and have never received any pushback. Great product selection and friendly return policy.

Stopped by the Daytona location and purchased a new Cardo Freecom 4+ comma device. The staff there were very helpful, even installing it in my helmet. Top notch install, helped me get it set up and it works great! I will shop there in the future. Give those guys a high five for the great job they do
